Exploring Australia in Retirement: Our Camping Journey with a Ford Ranger and Island Star Caravan

Both of us have had a love for camping pretty much all our lives. When we were raising our family, we always loved to take them camping and show them places around Australia. Now that we are both retired, we love the ability to go camping. We can explore more places in this beautiful country of ours.
We sold our Kimberley Kamper in 2024 which we had for many years and travelled extensively with it.
After a period of time we decided to become quite minimalist and decided to camp with just our Ford Ranger.
Move ahead a few more years, our comfort levels and requirements changed significantly. As a result, we upgraded to a caravan. Of course with Chris’s extensive electronics background we have a very good setup with solar panels, lithium batteries and inverter.
